I love griffons. They're so stately and majestic.
My college team was the "Golden Griffs" and our school mascot was the griffon. It was nice to have a mythical creature around the school. :)

Isriphos is a wise, middle-aged griffon who tends to be a little haughty. He can speak several languages, including several elven and dragon dialects as well as the Common tongue.

Pretty cool-looking old guy there! :)

I have a relatively young one of my own in my OCs, named Thoronraw... only he's rather insistent on terminology and prefers the spelling "gryphon" ;)
