This was drawn in response to a request from
 , who won a contest of sorts that I ran in my journal several weeks back. The prize was a drawing, of course. He requested a "cat-bird-person-thing". I took some artistic liberties, added a dash of whimsy, and came up with the snazzy looking character shown here. He's quite the dapper, charming, and clever fellow. He definitely has a mischievous streak, though, and is quite the prankster. I would imagine that he has the ability to perform a little majick when the situation calls for it. With a tip of his hat and a twirl of his cane, he greets you with a wide smile and sly remark.  |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. Actually, while I was designing him, I had a more "anthro" type design in mind. Ultimately, I thought that this one might be cuter, but maybe someday I'll revisit the anthro design.
