Hello, watchers and random passers-by! Just wanted to let you know I ain't dead or missing.  I just haven't had much time to lurk and/or post to DA because of my job.  I officially graduated from my cancer research post-doc into the real world in 2007.   I love my job as a medical science liaison for a personalized medicine company, but unfortunately, it doesn't give me much time to sit down to draw. Plus, you  know... I have a life.  LOL Anyhoo, I hope to continue to stop by every now and then.  I'd love to do some more Care Bear pics.  I've been getting lots of requests to do some Care Bear Cousin drawings. So, I was horribly, miserably sick for about two whole weeks (from about April 2 until April 14).  An upper-respiratory illness/flu thing from Mars, which was one of the worst sicknesses I've had to date, delayed me from driving back from Pittsburgh, where my husband lives, to B-more. :sick: :blownose:   I missed two whole weeks of work! The after-effects include a problem with my ear  -- I developed a secondary infection in it.  When I finally was able to return to work, my ear didn't hurt, but was stuffy and plugged up.  I could barely hear out of it!
